by train from Schiphol to Amsterdam

At train station Schiphol, currently trains depart from platform 1, 2 and 3 direction Amsterdam as NS Intercity or NS Sneltrein between 5am and 12pm. It takes about 15 to 19 minutes for the whole journey. The Sneltrein train stops are Schiphol - Amsterdam Lelylaan - Amsterdam Sloterdijk - Amsterdam Central. The Intercity train stops are Schiphol and Amsterdam Central only. The cost for an one-way journey is currently euro 3.80 for 2nd klas or euro 6.40 for 1st klas. There is no discounted fare available for one-way journeys. At central station take tram 2 to Zeilstraat - Amstelveenseweg.

By car from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to Amsterdam actually this is a bad idea!
Just in case: From Schiphol Boulevard take the ramp onto A4 direction Amsterdam. Take the exit A10-E22 direction Leeuwarden-Zaanstad-Ring Amsterdam. Take exit s106-Osdorp. Turn right for Cornelis Lelylaan. After 800 meters keep right for Amstelveenseweg. Third street Eerste Schinkelstraat turn right. At the end turn left for Schinkelkade.

At Utrecht Central, currently trains depart from track 5, 7, 8 or 12 direction Amsterdam as NS Intercity without transfer around the clock. It takes about 30 minutes for the whole journey. The Intercity train stops are Utrecht Central, Amsterdam Amstel and Amsterdam Central. The cost for an one-way journey is currently euro 6.60 for 2nd klas or euro 11.20 for 1st klas. There is no discounted fare available for one-way journeys. At central station take tram 2 to Zeilstraat - Amstelveenseweg.

by car from Utrecht to Amsterdam

From Utrecht take the ramp onto A2 E35 direction Amsterdam. After about 30 kilometers approximately 20 miles, leave A2 for A10 direction Den Haag. Take exit s108-Oud Zuid. Turn right for Amstelveenseweg. Follow Amstelveenseweg cross the roundabout. Fifth street after the roundabout turn left for Schinkelstraat. At the end turn left.
